Let’s Talk

Rachel Allison, LMHCA

Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Rachel,

I believe that therapy is a brave step toward personal growth, self connection and increased awareness. I’m honored to walk beside you on this path of discovery, resilience, and positive change. My Person centered approach is based in compassion, authenticity, and the belief that healing and growth are always possible—no matter your starting point. I specialize in supporting individuals as they navigate the impact of life’s experiences, helping them rediscover their inner strength and move toward a more purposeful, meaningful life.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Trauma-informed Care, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Psychodynamic approaches to process through trauma wether it is from childhood or more recent experiences, as well as mindfulness and Solution-Focused Therapy techniques, to tailor a supportive and empowering experience for each client. Whether you’re seeking to understand longstanding patterns, heal from trauma, cope with present challenges, or clarify future goals, my aim is to help you access the tools and insight needed for lasting change, better connection and overall growth.

I also have a deep understanding of how chronic conditions—especially autoimmune disorders—can impact mental and emotional well-being. I work with clients to honor the complex relationship between the mind and body, creating space for holistic healing. I believe our bodies hold wisdom, and that through gentle somatic work and mindfulness, we can begin to reconnect with ourselves in powerful ways. I welcome all individuals, adults and teenagers to explore and find better self connection and awareness from a non-judgmental, safe and supportive therapeutic space.

Outside the therapy space, I prioritize my own well-being through physical activity, somatic movement, spending time outdoors and in prayer. Whether hiking, skiing, paddle boarding, or simply enjoying nature with my fiancé, these moments of movement and connection help ground and inspire me—and I often encourage my clients to find similar practices that nourish their own lives.

I hold a Masters degree in Clinical mental health counseling from Grand Canyon University. I work hard to stay up to date on current practices and considerations through yearly continued education. Additionally, I am pursuing a CCTP, trauma informed certification, as well as training in EMDR processing (Fall 2025).
