Eli McDonald, LMFTA
Life can be so incredibly beautiful, however challenges, hardships, and stress can dull the beauty we experience. I am passionate about helping restore the beauty each person deserves to experience.
I received my bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science from Kansas State University, continuing on with and completing my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from K-State as well. I use different techniques from multiple theories including Internal Family Systems, Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I believe that people have the best success when they feel seen, heard, and respected.
I am experienced in working with individuals struggling with depression, self-worth, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, PTSD, and religious trauma. In addition, I work with couples navigating conflict, unmet needs, and increasing empathetic understanding.
In my free time I enjoy hiking, running, skiing, and anything Kansas City Chiefs football related!
