Andrew England, Masters Level Intern
Hi! I’m Andrew England a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern at Whitworth University. I am currently training to provide care for children, individuals, couples, and families. I use a person-centered approach grounded in empathy, active listening, and evidenced-based therapeutic techniques designed to create healing, change, and growth as well as include a faith based perspective.
I hold a bachelors in Business Administration of Criminal Justice and a Masters in Teaching and Learning from Whitworth University. My professional journey has challenged me to grow and has equipped me with a diverse skill set that has allowed me to be empathetic and passionate about empowering individuals on their journey towards emotional well-being.
While I am on the path to learning modalities and evidenced based practices, I use Person-Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Process Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My training will include Gottman Therapy (Level 1 and Level 2), Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT), and Lifespan Integration Therapy (LI).
I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space for growth and comfortability to explore thoughts and feelings. My goal is to support you in achieving personal growth and empower you to heal.
In my free time I enjoy being a husband and father to my three children, time with friends, playing games, Pickleball, and baking.
