Cassie Nolan, LMFT
***VIRTUAL APPOINTMENTS ONLY***
Hi, I’m Cassie! I specialize in working with adults focusing on anxiety, trauma, self-esteem issues, relational issues, and stress management related to life adjustments. With a warm and collaborative approach, I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and mutual respect. I enjoy taking the time to get to know my clients, meeting them where they are at, and walking alongside them on their journey of self-discovery and healing. My therapeutic style is relaxed and gently direct, creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and supported.
Each individual that I work with has a unique story; thus, I tailor my approach to fit the needs of that specific person. I often use a client-centered, systemic approach and integrate various evidence-based therapies within my practice. I have specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Lifespan Integration Therapy, Gottman Method, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
I hold a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Whitworth University and am licensed as an MFT in Washington. As a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), I uphold professional standards and continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing education and training.
I believe that my role as a therapist is not to “fix” you but rather empower you by providing you with tools to identify alternative perspectives and restructure unhealthy patterns. My goal is to support you in achieving personal growth and enhancing your relationships.
When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time outdoors. I’m a huge book girl, and my perfect day is spent in the sunshine with a good book and in the company of my husband and pup!
I see the immense amount of strength that comes with vulnerability, and I strive to create an environment where my clients feel comfortable and supported. It is a privilege to be in the therapist role and watch others discover their strengths, resiliencies, and capabilities. Please reach out if you feel I’d be a good fit for you!
