I genuinely believe therapy is a deeply humanizing experience. Being truly heard and validated in your pain, uncertainty, and inner experiences is part of the healing process. My approach to therapy reflects this philosophy, and my work is guided by the belief that people grow through authentic, attuned connection. I view therapy as a slow, insight-based process that unfolds at your pace and deepens as trust is built.
I tailor my therapeutic approach to suit your needs, drawing primarily from Emotion-Focused Therapy, person-centered theory, and attachment theory. These frameworks emphasize the central role of client autonomy, emotional awareness, and the importance of relationships in well-being. I help you identify, understand, and transform the emotional patterns and relational ruptures that impact how you see yourself and relate to others. My hope is to support you in gaining deeper emotional insight, reducing distress, and developing secure and meaningful connections.
I hold a Master’s in Marriage & Family Therapy, a Master’s in Theology, and have training in several evidence-based modalities including Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT, EFIT), the Gottman Method, Lifespan Integration, and use elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). With a background in theology, I bring sensitivity to the role that faith, spirituality, and existential questions can play in healing and developing a coherent, grounded sense of self. I welcome conversations around meaning, belief, and purpose when they are important to you.
In session, you can expect a calm, supportive space. I will meet you with presence, warmth, and unconditional positive regard. I will truly listen. Together, we’ll find a rhythm that feels collaborative and honest. My hope is that you feel safe enough to be present with whatever you’re carrying, trusting what you share will be held with discretion, empathy, and respect.
I work with couples, individuals (ages 13 and up), and families experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and relational distress. I also welcome those who may not have a formal diagnosis or specific concern but are seeking greater self-understanding and emotional clarity, or general support. Regardless of why you came to therapy, I’m here to provide a space for meaningful growth and change. I look forward to supporting you!
